We love lighting control! It has so many benefits and once you live with it, you won’t ever want to live without it. We have a Lutron® system in our own home that we use every day.

Occupancy sensors: automatically turn lights on when you enter and off after a pre-set time once you have left.

The features that we use daily with our own system are Scenes, Timeclocks, and iOS apps. By pressing the “Entertain” button on the kitchen Pico keypad it turns on the kitchen island pendant, downlights, undercabinet strip light, hallway can lights, living room can lights and floor lamps all to 75% brightness. When heading to bed at night the “Off” button turns off all the lights with a single press. With the Lutron® app, we have total access and control over every light, shade, and scene in the system right from our smartphones. We can adjust lighting and scenes to make sure everything is set exactly how we expect, whether we are at home or across the country.

Motorized Shades

Lutron® Motorized shading systems come in a variety of styles and options. Most common are roller shades but are also available in honeycomb shades, Venetian and Roman blinds, draperies, and tensioned shades. They can be either wired or wireless and are custom built to exact specifications. Motorized shades integrate with lighting control systems and can also be controlled manually or with timeclocks, scene keypads, and free apps.

Lutron® shading systems diffuse light and prevent glare, can black out spaces entirely, or beautifully transition a room to create the right amount of light for a specific activity. They can help you increase privacy, save energy, and stay cool in the summer or warm in the winter.
